This fertilizer has an organic form of nitrogen processed from human waste. Most fertilizers cannot be used in the heat of the summer, but the beauty of this product is it will NOT burn your lawn in the sweltering Midwest summers.

This fertilizer offers a summertime green up due to its high iron content. It also provides a little extra help for your cool season turf to endure the Midwest heat. 
 
One bag covers about 5,000 sqft., but can be used at various rates without damaging anything. 
 
Target application is in July or August.
